About St. Vincent de Paul
Founded in 1833, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a worldwide organization of lay Catholics, following Christ’s call to serve the poor, the suffering, and the deprived. Through home visits, Vincentian members establish personal relationships with our neighbors in need, not only providing material assistance such as rent, utilities, food or clothing, but also offering friendship, understanding, and prayer.
Our members represent all ages, every race, and all incomes, and all are gifted with awareness that the blessings of time, talent and treasure are to be shared with neighbors in need.
There are many ways to serve in this ministry. If you are interested in becoming a member or want to learn more about assisting our conference at St. Francis Xavier, please call our help line or send an email.
