The Sunday Morning Speaker Series meets between the Masses from 9:45 to 10:45 in the Joseph Room with presentations by speakers active in different ministries throughout the diocese. As part of Adult Faith Formation at SFX, the overriding goal of this program is to offer a sampling of topics pertinent to the Catholic faith as a way to deepen and strengthen our relationship with God and one another. Past topics include Living the Beatitudes; Wisdom and Discernment: the Ignatian Way; The Last Things: Heaven, Hell and Purgatory; Scientific Evidence for a Creator; Social Media, Our Youth and Us—Where Are We?; and The Spirituality of Social Justice. The nursery is available for young children.
In addition to the Sunday Morning Speaker Series, the Adult Education Office has numerous resources that can be checked out by parishioners.
