Thank you to everyone who participated in the recent campaign planning study at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. We received a wonderful response from the community and gathered vital feedback that will help us make the best decisions for the future of our entire community.
Following the study, the Steier Group presented its findings to me and about 40 leaders from various roles within our parish including staff, Finance Council, Pastoral Council, School Advisory Board, School Endowment Committee and Property Management Committee on June 11. It’s clear our community sees the need to make updates to our educational facilities and parish hall. Just as clear is your readiness to act. The results reflect strong momentum for launching a major fundraising effort as 79% of respondents and 92% of those interviewed said they will make a personal gift to the campaign.
Based on this info, the Steier Group recommended that St. Francis Xavier move forward with a capital campaign. Our leaders were in agreement and our finance council voted to proceed with the effort. You will hear much more about this important project in the next few weeks and months.
I encourage you to take time to review the flier with additional information on the results of our planning study. Thanks again for participating in this critical process for our community. Your input has been extremely beneficial and will help to ensure the success of our upcoming campaign. May God who began good work within St. Francis Xavier’s parish at its start in 1953, see us through and into a future full of hope.
