Matrimony

Engaged couples must arrange for their wedding with the priest at least six months in advance of their anticipated marriage date. Parish membership and attendance at an Engaged Encounter weekend are required. A six month preparation is required. Please contact the priest to begin the process. Weddings are normally not celebrated during Lent.

For more information, please consult our Wedding Guidelines booklet.

"The sacrament of Matrimony signifies the union of Christ and the Church. It gives spouses the grace to love each other with the love with which Christ has loved his Church; the grace of the sacrament thus perfects the human love of the spouses, strengthens their indissoluble unity, and sanctifies them on the way to eternal life."
